U.S. Department of Homeland SecurityIn today’s world of post-9/11 paranoia perpetrated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Transportation Security Administration — the infamous TSA — it appears trolls from within the organization are spamming a critic’s blog site called We Won’t Fly.

George Donnelly reports at We Won’t Fly, a “taxpayer-funded troll’s gem of a comment” was posted on the blog site. Through some further forensic investigation, Donnelly discovered multiple (19) vile comments posted from computer IP (Internet Protocol) addresses from within DHS servers.

The comment which popped the trip wire:

Fuck you, Fuck all you cocksuckers, you wont (sic) change anything. ride the bus, TSA is here to stay there (sic) doing a great job keeping americia (sic) safe. — Signed, ‘butch’

As you can see, not only does the TSA get to grope you at will (including groping passengers named Will), their spell checker may or may not have worked. When did we become the United States of Americia? Is ‘butch’ an illegal alien working for the TSA or a product of the public school system?

Questions Not Answered

Donnelly raises some very critical questions:

  • Is this an official statement?
  • If not, is it an accurate representation of the DHS position?
  • Was this person on the public dime when he or she posted this?
  • Who posted this and what is their position with DHS?

What’s even more disturbing, Donnelly reports he is being personally attacked from an IP address “belonging to mitre.org, a corporation whose core competency is securing federal government contracts, including DHS and TSA ones.” His four critical questions would reasonably apply here, too.

The First Amendment

While most Americans would agree Donnelly has a First Amendment right to be critical on his blog of the TSA, what is troubling is it appears from his article there are trolls from within the government and federal contractors who are using taxpayer dollars and resources to attack an American for his opinion.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. — First Amendment, U.S. Constitution, Ratified on December 15, 1791

Of the most basic of inalienable rights granted under the U.S. Constitution — Free Speech — Congress has to investigate these reported incidents. Whether or not these allegations are discovered to be factually true (and on face value I believe the allegations), it is incumbent upon our duly elected representatives to get to the bottom of this most egregious attack.

Though the 111th Congress adjourned today, We the People are entitled to have these events investigated and the guilty parties exposed and prosecuted.

Maybe this is just a symptom which explains why our ‘classified’ flame-cables got out into the wild. Congress didn’t care about Pvt. Manning’s supervisors and handlers who empowered him. Will Congress let this attack upon a U.S. citizen go unnoticed? I pray not.

On April 7th, 2009, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under the direction of Secretary Janet Napolitano, released an assessment titled, “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.” Click here to download a copy: DHS Report

To say the ‘fit hit the shan’ is an understatement. Especially when you couple the release of this document with the apparent attempt of President Obama to chisel away the U.S. Constitution to bring former Vice President Dick Cheney to criminal trial.

Obama just authorized release of critical Office of Legal Counsel Bush Administration memos (the Libs are calling them the ‘smoking gun torture memos’) obtained by the CIA which is now run by Obama’s boy Leon Panetta. Panetta went along with this new attempt to continually bash the former Bush Administration — the administration which kept America safe for the past eight years.

Cheney directly challenged Obama to release ALL the memos. “One of the things that I find a little bit disturbing about this recent disclosure is they put out the legal memos, the memos that the CIA got from the Office of Legal Counsel, but they didn’t put out the memos that showed the success of the effort,” Cheney said in an interview with FOX News’ Sean Hannity on Monday, April 20th.

Cheney continues, “I haven’t talked about it, but I know specifically of reports that I read, that I saw, that lay out what we learned through the interrogation process and what the consequences were for the country. I’ve now formally asked the CIA to take steps to declassify those memos so we can lay them out there and the American people have a chance to see what we obtained and what we learned and how good the intelligence was.”

There’s a novel concept. Let the American public decide. Smart man.

And get this. The former Veep says, “It’s important to not personally attack the new president. I’ve never done that. There’s a great temptation for a new administration to find a problem and blame it on the predecessor.  We did it. The Obama administration is not the first one to do that.” [Emphasis added.]

Honesty. Yes?

“Since the U.S. provides most leadership in the world, I don’t think we have much to apologize for. It’s important the U.S. that we don’t come off as arrogant, but also important to not come across as weak, indecisive and apologetic,” said Cheney.

Let’s face it. Obama’s ultimate goal is to — GET Dick Cheney.

Hey? There’s a movie for ya, “Get Dick Cheney.”

The Memo Which Sparked A Nation of Extremists

This nine page DHS unclassified document mentions seven specific times that military veterans are the new terrorists of the U.S.

Quote #1: “The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms and the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks.”

You know the Libs are chomping at the bit to get new legislation passed to further chisel away at the Second Amendment.

Amendment II
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

And the leftwing Libs aren’t scheming about arming bears.

Quote #2: “Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to rightwing extremists. DHS/I&A [Intelligence & Analysis] is concerned that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to boost their violent capabilities.”

Now there’s a leap. Not only will returning veterans face a myriad of issues of returning to normal military life or post-military life but, they’ll have to fight off those pesky rightwing extremists — the Republican Party.

Quote #3: “Disgruntled Military Veterans”

Well, if they weren’t disgruntled before — some certainly ARE now. Maybe they’ll be forced to join the Republican Party at threat of being waterboarded. Oh, wait. Obama has banned waterboarding; at least until the next attack on America.

Quote #4: “DHS/I&A assesses that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to exploit their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat.”

Yeah, the skills and knowledge they learned from the wingnut media by excoriating the military while they were protecting the nuts’ First Amendment rights to trash talk the Bush Administration.

Quote #5: “After Operation Desert Shield/Storm in 1990-1991, SOME returning military veterans-including Timothy McVeigh-joined or associated with rightwing extremist groups.” [Emphasis added.]

There’s the smoking gun! Returning military veterans will start to become McVeigh-followers. Wait? I’m on to something. McVeigh was the first American Jihadist which military veterans should worship.

There’s a special place in Hell for McVeigh and we’ll have to wait quite some time for Terry Nichols to join him.

Quote #6: “The FBI noted in a 2008 report on the white supremacist movement that some returning military veterans from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have joined extremist groups.”

Really? How many? What percentage? I bet less than ten people. But, I surmise that’s classified.

Quote #7: “DHS/I&A assesses that the combination of environmental factors that echo the 1990s, including heightened interest in legislation for tighter firearms restrictions [by the leftwing Libs] and returning military veterans, as well as several new trends, including an uncertain economy and a perceived rising influence of other countries, may be invigorating rightwing extremist activity, specifically the white supremacist and militia movements. To the extent that these factors persist, rightwing extremism is likely to grow in strength.” [The word 'leftwing' NEVER appears in this memo.]

As a U.S. military veteran — I am very disgruntled with this characterization of veterans. Am I going to go out and join a militia? If you call the Republican Party a militia, I’m guilty as charged!

I bet the Vietnam vets are thinking, “Now they know how we felt when we came back.”

Shame on you Napolitano. But, then again, you’re only following your master’s wishes. Damnit. There I go showing my racist tendencies. You know, rightwingers hang out with racists.

Oh, I liked your fake apology, too. [Statement by U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano on the Threat of Right-Wing Extremism.]

Is this where we’re headed as a country? Have we gone back thirty plus years to treat veterans with such disdain, distrust and with an abject lack of respect to accuse them of being terrorists?

Right now, as I type these words, there are men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces around the globe and here at home who make it possible for Americans — and even non-Americans — to lay their heads down at night knowing when they wake, the United States Constitution is the greatest living document of the Earth’s greatest representative democracy. Bar none.

Meanwhile, Back to Dick Cheney’s Arrest

This writer is going out on a limb to say by the end of this year, if the economy hasn’t continued to hold hostage all the headlines, the Obama Administration and his goons, Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif) Chairwoman of Senate Intelligence Committee, member Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Jack Reed (D-RI) Armed Services Committee and Sen. Edward ‘Ted’ Kaufman (D-Del) Senate Judiciary Committee, will find a way to prosecute Cheney and his aides for ‘war crimes.’

Crazy? Yes. Possible? Yes. Probable? I say yes.

Get Dick Cheney!

Former Vice President Dick Cheney is the crown jewel that Obama wants to get in order to show his ilk that the Democrats finally beat the evil-doer Republicans. You know, Bush 43 was just a puppet and Cheney was the REAL evil-doer behind the culture of corruption.

Obama will then attempt to hide behind the Executive Branch and claim the President can’t influence the Legislative Branch and its committees — meaning his liberal goons — from NOT pursuing Cheney because of, let’s say, the Constitution’s Separation of Powers thingy. He’ll use his White House spokeshole Robert Gibbs (if he lasts that long) to shout out the propaganda while Obama moans to the American public he needs to get back to doing America’s business — taking from those who earned their money and giving it to those who didn’t. Former President Bill Clinton can help him on the moaning part. If Hilary let’s him out of the house.

Share the wealth! Come on! Sing it with me!

You think there are fireworks now? Forget Wall Street vs. Main Street. Wait until the end of the year.

Don’t misunderestimate me.
