As former president George W. Bush releases his book “Decision Points” on his journey through life to become the most powerful man on earth, a new movie “Fair Game” will attempt to rewrite history to destroy him.

Sixteen Matches To Armageddon
On January 28th, 2003, a short sixteen months after the 9/11 attacks, then president Bush addressed the nation before a joint session of Congress in his State of the Union. Little did anyone know his speech would contain sixteen words which would spark an Armageddon of lies and attacks against the very man who took an oath to ‘preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.’
“The British Government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.” — President George W. Bush
The British Government had concluded in Chairman Lord Butler of Brockwell’s report, “Review of Intelligence on Weapons of Mass Destruction,” July 14th, 2004 [pdf], indeed Saddam Hussein had sought ‘significant quantities of uranium from Africa.’ I doubt the hangman’s future prey had ambitions to do anything other than build weapons of mass destruction to kill Americans.
Prior to Bush’s speech, based upon an unknown CIA employee’s recommendation, his administration had dispatched an unknown former ambassador Joseph C. Wilson, IV to this little nation of Niger, Africa to investigate Iraq’s links to nuclear weapons materials. The CIA employee just happened to be the spouse of Wilson.
It turns out later, the intelligence the United States and Great Britain received from various sources was faulty and cast doubt on a Niger-Iraq nuclear materials deal. However, the same intelligence concluded Hussein was looking for nuclear materials but could not find where he was going. Saddam had a gun and was looking for bullets. The intelligence communities just couldn’t find the right supplier.
Mr. Wilson’s War
Joseph Wilson was a former ambassador for the United States working in the U.S. Foreign Service for 22 years. He also happens to be married to the infamous [redacted], a former CIA employee.
President George H. W. Bush called Wilson “a true American hero” for helping to shelter and evacuate several thousand Americans and others from Hussein’s war in Kuwait. Wilson was the last American official to meet with Saddam before Gulf War I, when directed by Bush41 to tell Hussein to get the hell out of Kuwait or face the consequences.
Gulf War I didn’t happen to become Wilson’s War. He made Gulf War II become his war by accusing Bush43 of lying to the American public — and the world — about nuclear materials Hussein was looking to obtain. His insanity gave birth to the phrase “Bush lied, people died.” He just refuses to mention the overwhelming agreement by the nations of the world to go to war with Iraq.
In Wilson’s infamous op-ed piece penned for the New York Times “What I Didn’t Find in Africa” July 6th, 2003, he accused the Bush43 Administration of ‘twisting’ the truth. Come on, he called them liars. What Wilson had no clue of what he had just done was out his own wife as a CIA employee. You know, what Ann Coulter calls the super-secret covert operative code named “Valerie Plame.”
Wilson started a war which he could not control and ended up causing his wife to lose her job. He and his wife have filed several lawsuits, funded by The Leftys, in order to bring down Bush43/Cheney. To date, they have all failed. I wonder how those bedtime talks went in the Wilson-Plame house?
I also wonder to this day why Wilson wanted to become the canary who cried wolf in the mine when there wasn’t a mine? What was his axe to grind? Maybe we’ll learn his motivation some day.
The Fallout
Enter special prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald, Cheney’s former chief of staff I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, former deputy secretary of state Richard Armitage, Dick Cheney (better known as Darth Vader by The Leftys), Karl Rove (or is Karl known as D.V.?) and Adolph Hitler. I know, The Leftys can’t resist uttering the name of Adolph when talking about Bush43/Cheney.
On the good side, Wilson published his “The Politics of Truth” comic book and included special mention of his super-secret wife Valerie Plame.
“To my wife Valerie, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am for what your government has done to you. If I could give you back your anonymity I would do so in a minute.” — Joseph Wilson
And not to leave out Valerie Plame, she got to publish her own comic book titled “Fair Game.” Well, since she was already outed by her husband, I guess naming her here won’t get me into any trouble. Her mention of her husband?
“Certain names and identifying characteristics in this book have been changed.” To Joe — [super-secret covert CIA operative spy vs. spy]
Hooray for Hollywood!
“Boys, we got ourselves a movie! And we get to slam Bush43 while producing it. Hookers for everyone!” This last weekend, Summit Entertainment released “Fair Game” the movie starring Naomi Watts & Sean Penn based upon a fictionalized account of Wilson & Plame’s books. Or, is it a factual account of fictionalized books? I’m confused.
I haven’t seen a screening but I will bet somewhere there’s a disclaimer which reads “The following movie was based upon fictionalized accounts. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead is purely coincidental.” They don’t want to get sued, now do they?
If “Fair Game” happens to be a documentary based in fact about killing cute, cuddly polar bears with our SUVs, then I’m sure Al Gore will be in the film somewhere. A cameo, maybe?
I will guarantee Sean Penn is nominated for an Academy Award. Hollywood is full of Leftys, though there is a growing conservative base, and wouldn’t it be so nice if we gave him an Oscar for portraying a guy trying to bring down the Death Star of Bush43/Cheney?
While I won’t advocate readers to see or not to see this movie, or read or not to read Wilson & Plame’s comic books, I leave it up to you to provide commentaries below. The movie cost a reported $22 million to make and has made a reported $1.3 million worldwide. Ouch.
Are there not any heroic, patriotic movies like Hollywood produced during the WWII era?
Vote once, vote often Academy members!
